The space Welcome to the Entire Loft @ The Green House, offering a comfortable & cozy space featuring 1 bedroom with a king-size bed (updated new mattress 2026), a charming 3 piece bathroom (with a low ceiling), and a combined living-dining area. We converted the futon in the living space into a full bed, please let us know in advance if you’d like us to prepare it for you with the bedding. The living-dining area is equipped with a heat pump/air conditioner (installed October 2023), a 40" Smart TV, an electric fireplace, and a kitchenette that includes an air fryer, 3-in-1 breakfast station (with a drip coffee maker), toaster, microwave, kettle, and mini fridge. A Keurig K-Express coffee maker is provided, along with complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer. For tea lovers, enjoy a selection of teas during your stay. **Please note:** - This listing does not have a private entrance. The entrance, hallway, and stairs are shared with the hosts and one other guest. - The outdoor swimming pool is shared (available mid June-mid September, 9 am-9 pm). - This space may not be suitable for those with claustrophobia due to the narrow second staircase and low slanted ceiling in the bathroom. - Not recommended for those with knee issues as there are two sets of stairs to access The Loft. - The driveway is shared with one other guest when occupied. It can accommodate two cars and a trailer, with the host parking on the opposite side of the house. - We provide the use of washer & dryer (located on the main floor) for booking of 1 week and longer. Please note, if you are accustomed to a hotel-like experience, this listing may not meet your expectations. As this is my first Airbnb listing, it holds special meaning as it was created the same time as the birth of our son (our first guests checked in the same day I was discharged from the hospital). Inspired by the beauty of Tunisian tiles, The Loft is decorated in calming blue and soft grey tones, with a subtle splash of teal in the living-dining area. Guest access Guests will access the main entrance, which is shared with one other guest (if The Room is occupied), via the front porch, while the hosts use a separate back entrance. The stairs and hallway are shared, and check-in is contactless with a keypad for convenience. The shared patio and pool area can be accessed directly from the side door (available mid June - September, 9 am - 9 pm). This charming property offers easy access to Sobeys supermarket, restaurants, ATMs, parks, walking trails, and popular shops. Feel free to use one of our two bicycles to explore the area! Other things to note We are parents to a young boy, born in 2022, who sleeps through the night. Also a baby boy born in 2025. If the sound of a child might impact your stay or vacation, this may not be the listing for you. We do appreciate quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM. Please note, this listing is not childproof, though infants are welcome. We can provide a highchair and baby tub if needed just let us know. There are two sets of stairs leading up to your private Loft apartment. The second set is narrow, but the loft itself offers a spacious retreat. The hosts live on the main and first floors of the property and share the same stairs and hallway. Built in 1904, our home has its charming quirks, including squeaky doors and floors. The outdoor swimming pool and patio are available for guest use from mid June to mid September, between 9 AM and 9 PM. You are also welcome to use the BBQ, but we kindly ask that you refrain from cooking pork. A 3% Tourism Marketing Levy, set by the Town of New Glasgow, is applied to the accommodation price. Certain exemptions exist for visitors staying for funerals, medical appointments, or as students. Please let us know the purpose of your visit to determine if you qualify for an exemption.
