Idyllic granary in the tranquility of nature with lake views

Also not suitable for small children, risk of falling from the terrace The space Our granary is an atmospheric nest where you can relax in the tranquility of nature while listening to the sounds of birds. The barn consists of one room (20 m2) with a living room, dining table, kitchenette and sleeping area. The interior is unique. We have made both the barn and its furniture ourselves from old boards and the walls of old barns. We sell furniture at medieval markets, and they are also for sale in the barn. We live nearby (about 200 m), but there is no visual contact with our cottage, so your privacy is guaranteed. The kitchenette has a separate stove with two hotplates, a refrigerator and a coffee maker. Dishes can be washed outside in the pool, where running water has been drawn from the lake. There is also an outdoor shower with lake water next to the pool. It is not possible to get hot water in the barn. We bring drinking water separately. The toilet is a new wooden toilet, which is for the private use of guests. You can book a beach sauna separately, which is located in our cottage, on the shore of Lake Sääksjärvi. The reservation must be made the day before, because the sauna has a genuine stove known for its soft steam, which takes six hours to heat up. The sauna is paid separately on site, 50 €, and its usage time is TWO hours. We are happy to provide information about nearby excursion destinations. A couple of hundred meters from the cabin, there is a public beach on the shore of Lake Sääksjärvi, where you can walk along the trail. There is a pier on the beach where you can jump, as well as a long natural sandy beach. There are also good hiking/biking trails to nearby forests. There is no possibility to swim in the pond in front of the cabin. Possibility to borrow two bicycles, for which we do not charge. Nature trails can be accessed from the vicinity of Aita. Guest access The granary is entirely at your disposal. Nearby is our garage, where we occasionally work. Our own cottage, where we live, is about a hundred meters away, and there is no visual contact. If you want to book a beach sauna for a separate fee, this is in our cottage, but during the booking time (2h) it is only for guests. Next to the sauna, there is also a campfire area that you can use when booking the sauna. There is no campfire next to the barn, but you can use the terrace grill. Other things to note two normal bicycles are available to the tenant free of charge.
