This great space has all the comforts you need for a enjoyable home away from home. There is a sleeping, lounging and dining area as well as a kitchenette, bathroom and a lovely patio space. We have established and grow a large variety of edible plants. On our 1/4 acre lot we use a compost and a rain catching system to support our food forest, spiral herb garden and annual beds. We raise chickens and have been attempting to start an apiary. I am happy to give garden tours if interested. The space This studio is located in the basement of our trilevel home. It has its own private entrance. There is a comfortable queen size bed. There is a seating area with a love seat that folds into an additional twin bed and a smart TV. This space has a cozy dinning area that seats four. There is also a functional kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, and a lovely patio area. Guest access Street side parking is available. Our guests have their own private entrance down a flight of stairs with a keypad for easy access and a patio area to be enjoyed. Other things to note We are a family of four and do live on site so, we may be heard upstairs. We have two small children and pets including a dog, chickens, and bees that are kept inside the fence on the far left side of the house. For this reason we insist that guests do not enter the backyard. However, if you would like to observe the gardens and meet the animals you can reach out to us and we will arrange it. Your private patio area is on the right side of the house near your private entrance. There are stairs down to your door. There is central heating for the entire house but also a faux fireplace for you to use to adjust the temp to your liking. Also, there is a shared door between our house and yours with a lock on both sides for your security and ours. We enjoy meeting new people.
