Central Windermere Apartment with Victorian Charm

The Westwood Suite is a set of rooms on the ground floor of a Victorian Villa at the heart of Windermere village. Large living room; bedroom with king size bed; en-suite shower room; small kitchenette with microwave, and private parking. Close to excellent cafes, restaurants and shops, on a quiet leafy road 15-20 minutes’ walk from the lake. Will suit a couple looking for a little luxury, chilling out with the two smart TVs, blue tooth speaker and coffee machine. The space The Suite offers a large Victorian character sitting room, flowing through to a cosy bedroom with king size bed, and on into a modern en-suite shower room. The facilities include smart TVs in the living room and bedroom, Bluetooth speaker, coffee maker, drink making facilities, microwave, wine cooler and luxury toiletries. On-site parking is provided and an outdoor seating area for guest use. Occupancy is strictly limited to two people. Guest access Windermere has a railway station 15 minutes' walk away. There are frequent buses around the Lake District (including open-top), which go to Bowness, Ambleside, Grasmere, Keswick and Kendal, with a bus stop 50 metres from the Westwood Suite. We offer free off-road parking on-site. The suite is situated on the ground floor so is suitable for guests with limited mobility. Please note: there is a shallow step (5.5 cm) down to the front path when accessing the property from the pavement. Access from the parking space is level; however please be aware that this path is relatively narrow in places (0.75 m at the narrowest point). Sadly the bedroom and bathroom are not sufficiently wide for wheelchair access. Please note also that the shower has a traditional shower tray (not a walk-in shower) and no grab rails. Other things to note The suite is offered as room only, but with plenty of options for breakfast available at the near-by cafes. Hosts Judith and Richard will welcome you and be on hand if required with suggestions for dining, local walks and other leisure activities. Clean towels, extra toiletries and tea and coffee supplies are available throughout your stay. There is lake access suitable for wild swimming 15 - 20 minutes walk away.
