Grade II Listed Former Baptist Chapel, built in 1824 and carefully renovated to provide a warm and comfortable holiday let for a relaxed stay. With underfloor heating and hot water from a ground source heat pump. On the edge of the pretty village of Bardwell, 8 miles from Historic Bury St Edmunds and in the centre of East Anglia. There are many interesting places to visit within easy travelling distance. The space The living space is one spacious room with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. A bedroom leads off the main room and has a shower en-suite and a double/Queen bed. The gallery bedroom has a super king bed which can be two singles upon request. Outside there are old mellow gravestones on two sides. Aconites, snowdrops, daffodils, crocuses and other wild flowers bloom in season. Peaceful surroundings with a short private woodland walk. For the better weather there is furniture for outside eating. Guest access We do accept children over the age of 8 years. Parents must accept responsibility for their safety and assess whether the chapel is suitable. Please feel feel free to ask questions. Other things to note We look forward to offering you holiday accommodation in our converted former chapel but please make sure it suits your requirements before booking. It is old with original brick floors and floor boards which can be uneven. The original staircase is very steep with a height restriction at the bottom. Broadband speeds vary and can be slow compared with urban areas. There is no plug in charging capability available on the property but charging points are available in the town and next village.
