Welcome to us! We are a family of five with two dogs and three cats - everyone is friendly and kind and would like to get to know you. We offer a modern apartment located next to the municipal center Lyngseidet - more specifically on a scenic peninsula in the middle of the Lyngenfjord, Karnes. Enjoy the wide open sky, incredible views of the magnificent nature, peaceful surroundings. With 35 years of top hiking experience, the host Frode will be happy to assist you with tips on the best hikes. Upon request, guided tours can be arranged. The space The apartment is located on the 2nd floor above a soundproof garage. The entrance to the apartment is on a terrace located above a car-port belonging to the apartment. There are floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, which gives a near-outdoor experience to the surroundings. There are open windows in both bedrooms, both of which are shielded from midnight and morning sun. The nearest and only neighbors are 70 meters away, behind otherwise there is lake, forest and nature on the other three sides of the property. There is otherwise a consistently good standard on everything from apartment to view. The garage is well equipped with the necessary tools, so if you need to fix something or prepare the skis, it will be fine. The place is legendary for experiencing the northern lights In connection with the apartment we have an annex - here one or two can sleep at night in a double bed. The apartment sleeps 5 (two double beds and a single bed) Guest access If you want to hike around the nearby area there are very nice areas. 200 meters away there is a top bolted climbing field, furthermore there are great farm roads around. We have two fatbikes that can be rented at a reasonable price. We are 5 km from Lyngseidet which is the area's commercial and service center. A hike around Karnes is definitely recommended.
