Rustic Permaculture Vintage Camper in Urban Garden
Rustic Permaculture Vintage Camper in Urban Garden
Description
Your camper is tucked away in our large back yard (my son calls it Tardis, because it looks tiny from the outside, but seems to expand when you step inside). You'll stay in a cozy rustic space designed with love. Equipped with a kitchen, simple but spacious outdoor shower, and composting toilet, you'll wastes zero water; all graywater goes right to plants. All food waste is fed to chickens/ composted. Help yourself to eggs if you see any! Cotton, wool, and feather bedding; vintage furnishings. The space I designed this property as a permaculture home. All the water from our kitchen, bath, and laundry go to some of the 20 trees we have planted on this property since we came here in 2009. A large tank collects rainwater from the roof for the rest of the garden. At one point we had goats, geese, chickens, sheep and a large garden. Now we just have the chickens as I have gone back to school full time. Guest access Feel free to eat and hang out under the tree in the back yard. There is also a fire ring you are welcome to use, and plenty of natural mesquite wood. If needed you may also use the washing machine, and line dry your clothes as we do. There is a secure place to park a bike if you've brought one or will be renting. Our dog, Sweetpea, will want to hang out with you. Other things to note Sweetpea the dog needs to meet you, but once she does she will love you forever and want to protect you and you stuff. Street noise, mostly the freeway, is audible from the camper.
