Georgstor apartment is located on the 1st floor of the 300-year-old Posthalterhof. Freshly renovated with a new bathroom and kitchen on around 48 square meters, the apartment offers a great ambience. In addition to the spacious living/sleeping area, the sofa bed can be used for 2 other persons. A large flat screen TV and an Alexa are available. The apartment has a free parking space as well as an idyllic terrace with table and gas grill. All space has free WiFi. The space The Posthalterhof was built around 1683 as a post station of Thurn und Taxis as a station between Cologne and Trier. In the middle of Blankenheim, less than 200 meters as the crow flies from the Ahrquelle, is the Posthalterhof with the oldest building in Blankenheim. In the centre of Blankenheim, directly on the Eifelsteig and the Jacobsweg, it offers guests, as it did 300 years ago, a place to stay. On the large terrace there is a private table and a gas grill for 4 people. The kitchen and the bathroom are accessible via a small staircase, so the apartment is not accessible. Our new sauna area is ready. On around 70 square meters, We offer all guests ( 3 apartments) the sauna and hot tub in the more than 500 years old vaulted cellar to use. The use is free of charge , but it must be reserved. The sauna area is available from 10:00 to 21:00. Each apartment can book it individually per day for up to 2.5 hours. From 21:00 it is available to all guests alike. A scheduler is available at check in.
