Casa del Mosaic is Silver City artist Cecilia Stanford's home and studio part of the year, and filled with her collection of eclectic art and crafts, as well as her own mosaics. Just several blocks from the greenspace of historic Boston Hill, miles of hiking and biking trails. Casa del Mosaic is available by the month or longer, and is a non-smoking, handicapped accessible home. Artist studio space is available upon request. Dog friendly, with a large fenced yard, no cats due to allergies. The home is approximately 2,000 square feet. The art studio is in the other half of the building, with about 800 square feet of available space for an additional fee. Let me know your needs and I will do my best to assist you in a creative opportunity, with ample work tables and the northern light is great. A private patio is off the master bedroom, and for those needing handicap access, a ground level entrance is available through the front studio. While I am traveling, a friend is available for help. My home was the first lumberyard in Silver City, located less than one mile from old downtown. A trail head onto Boston Hill, an historic mining area and greenspace has many hiking and mountain biking trails. Silver City can be reached by Advanced Air, from Phoenix, AZ and Albuquerque, NM. See: go-newmexico, on the web, Silver City Casa del Mosaic is dog friendly on a case by case basis. A large fenced back yard is available, but I request that if your pet is allowed on your furniture and beds, please bring sheets to cover my furniture and bedspreads. I try to keep pet dander down to a minimum for other guests and myself. Please message me with your needs and questions. Silver City is a pet friendly town, with many dog lovers, trails and a dog park. I cannot accommodate cats, I am allergic.
