CWE Metro/Bus, Walk to Forest Park Loft & couch 1L
Description
A St. Louis brick 2 family built 1898, restoration in progress. Chouteau Park across the street & Central West End across the bridge. Walk to Forest Park with all the major museums or The Grove entertainment district. This is for the "semi-private" Loft bed room (Loft=walls are not full and there is a curtain instead of door: see pictures) at the end of the First Floor, there are additional listings on both floors of this building sharing the common spaces. Monthly rate is 600 USD per month. The space Thanks for your interest in my new building, investing in STL. Here is an update! This is the current rehab status to be aware of: You will occupy the first floor (door on the left). Though the second floor construction is mostly done, details like: painting, window trim and applications, and closet shelving aren't yet in. The first floor has never been rehabbed so all of it needs updating except the kitchen still. Cant predict the future state of the progress of the detailing and remodeling, which will be slow since most of it I am doing it myself in my spare time, which I have little of. This listing is for the Loft room and living room couch bed at the end of the apartment before the kitchen, See floor plan picture. Note as my profile here shows, I have an additional listing for the Front room and Master Suite room also. These other two listings are often booked at the same time too. My "home" office is located in the front of the building 2nd floor above the front doors. I am usually here working as reception for my buildings. The 1st floor front room is for longer term tenant(s). They may use the entry closet and have their own section in the bathroom and kitchen as noted in the house manual. You get to have a "semi private" furnished "Loft" space off the living room in a 1500 square foot 120 year old Victorian style apartment, located in high rent district. (Loft definition is that the walls do not go to the ceiling and in this case there is a curtain instead of a door.) I provide a real Full size (Double) bed, and the potential use of the Full (Double) size pull-out sofa bed located in the open living room section of the room. This means if you book for 2 people then the other person has to share in the Full bed or for short term stays only could possibly also sleep in the pull-out sofa bed. The white wireless doorbell to the 2nd floor is the only working one, knock (door on right) or call. Make yourself at home: You can enter without notice to tenant and I or requirement of us being there, just follow the house manual and be mindful and keep the place locked at all times. Note this is an all hard wood floor building as pictured. The 2nd floor where I stay has a strict no shoe policy, but that doesn't mean no creaking in general for 100 year old hardly insulated floors. Noise is entirely random and cant be predicted, may be none, may be some, but should always be reasonable and minimal. ***If you have issue with cleanliness, noise, or anything else during your visit here let me know immediately via a message or in person so I can address the issue, If you dont bring problems to my attention then everything must be wonderful. Guest access to Forest Park: FREE Science Center, FREE Zoo, FREE Art Museum, FREE Missouri History Museum, The Jewel Box botanical $1, The Muny outdoor theater has FREE seats.
