Owl Tree Cottage with access to Alice Holt

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil cottage by the woods. Ideally situated on the edge of Alice Holt Forest in The South Downs National Park. The cottage has direct access to Alice Holt Forest containing a historical arboretum, Go ape and the popular Gruffalo trail. A perfect gateway for walkers, bikers and those looking to be close to nature. Ideal for solo adventures or a family getaway. The market town of Farnham is only a 10 min drive away. 4 miles from Farnham 36 miles from London The space A self contained annex in the garden of our home. The property has an open plan sitting room, kitchen/diner on the ground floor with stairs leading to a bedroom with king sized double bed and en-suite shower room on the first floor. The downstairs sofa turns into a double bed for additional guests, so the cottage sleeps up to 4 people., although 4 adults could be a squeeze and we recommend 2 adults 2 children or 3 adults. There is also a travel cot available on request. Alice Holt is a great place for Bird spotting with many species of birds of prey nesting in the forest and a base for walking and exploring the Surrey countryside. We are located ~3 miles from Farnham and 1.5 miles from Bentley station with a 1 hour train link to London Waterloo. The local pub 0.3 miles away that serves a delicious roast. Other popular local attractions are Frensham ponds, Birdworld, Jane Austins House, a number of wedding venues including Blacknest Golf and Country club within half a mile. There are an abundance of country walks and cycle paths just outside the back gate. X1 Dog is allowed but we kindly ask for them to be kept on the lead whilst in the garden (a fee of £10 per visit will be added for dog so please mention at booking). Guest access Access to the property is via an electric gate. Free parking is available on site. There is easy private access for walking and biking in Alice Holt Forest via a private entrance. Other things to note We have a double bed and a double sofa bed. Ideally and comfortably fits 3 people
