Imagine relaxing in the hot tub after a busy day exploring Norfolk! Whilst we're in a secluded location our 4 beautiful holiday barns are just a 10 minute stroll from a dog friendly pub. We welcome children but with a zip n link bed and extra parking, No.2 is also perfect for 2 couples! 2 dogs stay free (please enquire about more) The space Nestled amongst fields on the edge of the peaceful Norfolk Broads village of Dilham just 8 miles from the North Norfolk coast, No. 2 Brick Kiln Barns is one of a small collection of 4 dog friendly barn conversions. Enter the light open plan living space with beamed vaulted ceiling, skylight, and huge picture window overlooking the garden with open countryside beyond. The kitchen area provides everything needed for those wishing to dine in, with electric fan oven and ceramic hob, microwave, upright fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and dining table and chairs. The lounge area has comfortable 2 seater leather sofas and Smart TV perfect for a little down time or planning tomorrow's adventures. Continuing into the hallway, the barn has two bedrooms, again with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The master has a king-size bed and the second can be made up with either twin beds or as a second kingsize. A shower room with large shower enclosure, basin with vanity unit under, WC and heated towel rail completes the accommodation which is given a cosy feel in winter by underfloor heating throughout. No. 2 has two fully enclosed outdoor areas. Step out of the french doors from the open plan living space onto the south facing patio fully enclosed by 3ft fencing and enjoy the open field views with a coffee, or access the south-west facing lawned garden from the hallway to soak in the sunset from the private hot tub. The two outside areas are joined by gated access so you can always keep your pooch and children in sight. No. 2 also benefits from gated access to our additional field (not fenced) perfect for zoomies, shared with guests from our 3 other barns at Brick Kiln Barns. No. 2 has its own dedicated parking space approximately 20 metres from the entrance along a gravel path and we have provided a wheeled trolley to help with the luggage. Please enquire about additional parking. The dog and family friendly village pub serving food is a 10 minute (flat) stroll away and you can pick up groceries in the local towns of Wroxham, North Walsham and Stalham offering a choice of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers along with cafes, bars, restaurants, and takeaways that will deliver. The Norfolk Broads start at the end of the driveway where you can fish or launch your own canoe or paddle board, the stunning North Norfolk Coast is just 8 miles away offering a choice of dog friendly beaches, and the city of Norwich is 14 miles away. For walking you can access the Weaver's Way and the North Walsham and Dilham Canal footpath from the village and Bacton Wood offering off lead shady walks is a 10 min drive. We welcome children and up to 2 dogs (enquire about more). We can also supply travel cot, highchair, baby bath and shower stool. Hot tub: Please note that in line with Health & Safety Executive Guidelines the hot tub is completely drained, cleaned, refilled and reheating between each set of guests and whilst we cannot guarantee that it will be up to temperature and ready to use on your first night we can guarantee you will be the only people to sit in that water. Hot tub use is not recommended for children under 5 years. All of our guests are provided with a copy of our comprehensive Guide to Norfolk to get the most out of their stay. Guest access You will have the whole barn and two fully enclosed outdoor areas including lawned, patio and gravel areas. In addition there is a large field shared with guests from our 3 other barns that is perfect for exercising 4 legged companions. Other things to note The local pub, The Cross Keys, offers our guests 10% off their food bill when you mention staying at Brick Kiln Barns. It's VERY dog fiendly! Booking advised in peak season.
