Welcome to the most exclusive area in the High Desert, called Boulder Ridge. We named this hidden gem 30 years ago, after picking the choicest property, and creating the signage, as you enter the area. Nestled in the Sawtooth mountains, and near the historic Boulder Ridge Ranch, the Boulder Ridge Hideout is a Joshua Tree National Park- like private retreat away from the crowds, with boulders dating back millions of years. The space The Boulder Ridge Hideout is hidden from public view at the end of a private dirt road and sits above a box canyon. SKIP the long lines at the JT National Park, and hike for miles without the crowds in your own PRIVATE nature preserve, 4,000 feet above sea level. Complete privacy and seclusion, yet only 5 minutes into town for supplies. The property is south facing, in an elevated hillside amongst natural boulder formations, native and spectacular cactus and succulents, ancient pinion pines, Joshua trees, creosote and jojoba bushes, and a natural stream bed, or wash. If you’re looking for privacy, this is it! The majority of short term rentals out here are deceptive about how private they are, and how close they are to a roadway and nearby neighbors. The cottage, landscape and interior decor have been curated by an artist family. You will enjoy the many thoughtful touches throughout. All the pics are taken with my cellphone, except a few. The wildlife is sometimes elusive, so when you spot that Bighorn Sheep, or the owls, roadrunners, quails, birds, rabbits, hawks, desert foxes, or a coyote family traveling by, you will feel honored and part of your soul will be as one with nature. Feel the spiritual connection. There is an uncanny feeling that the area is a Spiritual Vortex, especially in the morning and evening.
