With 3 outdoor living areas, 2 indoor living spaces, a formal dining room, a large kitchen, and 3 bedrooms and two baths,there is plenty of room to spread out, relax, and enjoy your stay, since our house is larger than most, we love any group from a family gathering or girls trips, wedding parties to couples traveling together to anniversaries. From ball teams to folks stopping in route to their your next destination Our guests favorite spot is the large screened in front porch where you can enjoy late night chats, eating breakfast, or even playing board games on rainy days. The most favorite thing to do is people watch, you never know who you will see or if your neighbor s house has been featured on the show. The backyard is just as perfect . equipped with a deck for enjoying morning coffee and a large yard with seating to enjoy the blooming flowers and a playset for the littles. We even have a flower garden filled with beautiful blooms in the spring and summer. . The Inside feels like home, it is as simple as that. You’ll feel like you’re staying with a family friend and not vacationing at a hotel. There are 2 Living spaces perfect for kicking up your feet after a day of walking the historic district or catching up on episodes of Home Town. With a large dining room and fully furnished kitchen, you’re even set to cook a meal or have fun doing one of our “How to’s which can include from a tea party to a charcuterie board or a mixed media art piece that you create and take home it can range from making a travel journal learning to finish making bath bombs scrapbooking, quilting. and so much more. You will have total privacy throughout your stay and as little or much interaction as you prefer. we are more than happy to help with any ideas of planning you might want help with. We are located just a few minutes drive from several interstate exits, grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, entertainment, and more. We are located in Laurel’s historical residential district in walking distance to downtown. You can walk or drive to anywhere you want in the downtown area. We have a downtown map and an information area in the back hallway of Happy Blue. Everyday something new pops up. Always look at Mainstreet Laurel website for local happenings as well as the Jones County Ms chamber website, the city of Laurel website and the Laurel Mercantile website for what is happening.
