The space Inside the yurt, you’ll find a warm and inviting space designed for comfort and rest. The traditional 16ft Mongolian yurt includes a comfy double bed, a single bed and double futon. A wood-burning stove, soft fairy lighting, mirrors, and simple rustic furnishings create a cosy atmosphere, ideal for slow mornings and peaceful nights. Step outside into your own private woodland glade, where the yurt is nestled among trees we planted 33 years ago. Surrounded by wildflowers and birdsong, the space feels tucked away and wonderfully calm, a place to truly switch off. A real highlight of the stay is the handmade, undercover outdoor kitchen and living area, built from reclaimed materials. Here you’ll find a large dining table, a mini fridge, gas cooker, storage cupboards, cooking essentials, a handmade BBQ fire pit with benches - perfect for shared meals, storytelling, and long evenings under the stars. Next door is a sustainably made compost loo and a brand-new, warm indoor/ outdoor undercover shower - offering comfort while still feeling close to nature. We also have a brand new hot tub (included in price except wood) coming this March! My sister runs a sauna business, Peak Saunas on the farm, so you also have the opportunity to hire out the barrel sauna and cold plunge for a private or communal session for an extra fee. We are an organic working family farm, so perfect for animal lovers! This yurt is ideal for a romantic countryside escape, family adventures, or solo travellers seeking something a little magical. Guests are welcome to bring their own firewood, or purchase our 15kg bags at £8 a bag. Guest access You can drive up the field and park directly next to the yurt. Other things to note We have electricity and fresh running water, and an electric hot shower all in the woodland glade. We provide towels, bedding and cooking ware, so we have you covered.
