Farm Cottage in a quiet rural location

The Bothy is a spacious and comfortable farm cottage on our working arable farm. It is well equipped for quiet stays off the beaten track, yet only 2 miles from a busy village with all amenities. With wide open spaces and stunning sunsets, there is nearby access to the wild marshes of the Wash (and the King Charles III coast path), and we're only a short drive to historic King's Lynn, the King's Norfolk home at Sandringham, and the beautiful Norfolk coast. The space The cottage hallway has plenty of space for boots and coats, and open views over the fields behind. In the sitting room there's a comfy sofa and armchairs, Smart TV, plenty of storage, plus a dining table and chairs, and views through the new French doors out over the fields. The bedroom has a king-size bed, an antique wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV, while the newly refurbished kitchen is well equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle etc., and views over the field as you wash up! The shower room has an electric shower, basin, and toilet of course, plus heated towel rail. There are efficient heaters, and extra electric heaters should you need them. Bed-linen and towels are included, and there is an adjacent outhouse with washing machine you can use. We have maps to borrow and some local information to help you make the most of your stay here in West Norfolk. Outside, there is plenty of parking and a grassy sitting area with a bench overlooking the open fields (great sunsets!), though it is not a fenced garden. Guest access The cottage and its garden area are fully available for your use. Other things to note The Bothy is a bungalow with step-free access throughout, although the shower has a step into it. A grab bar can be added on request. Some of the doorways are quite low (although ceilings are high), so tall guests might need to duck!
