The space The open plan bachelor pad leads you straight out to a garden with braai facilities, where you can enjoy views of the Indian Ocean. 1 comfortable double bed, and quality cotton linens and towels add a touch of luxury to the Ocean Nest. The kitchen is equipped with the basics for a minimalistic beach get-away: a small stove, coffee plunger, and kettle. So, come as you are and enjoy the simple life. It may also be worth mentioning that, although there is a charcoal braai and a nice bench outside of the unit there isn't a completely private space to relax outside of the Nest... BUT there is a fantastic beach right at your doorstep... that offers a beautifully peaceful space to relax... so grab a chair and go relax there... As an added BONUS, if the Beach Cottage or Garden Villa are vacant you are more than welcome to use a large deck area at the back of the Nest or the terrace/garden space on the seaside of the Nest (with their own braai facilities). Don’t be afraid though, as these are just fellow beach lovers looking to rest and revive in a tranquil location. Each accommodation has its own private entrance, facilities (fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms, etc). QUIET HOURS You may occasionally see or hear other people but we appreciate all Skye Beach Guests to be respectful when it comes to noise and quiet hours begin at 11pm. BATH TOWELS Bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. PETS There are no pets allowed in this particular unit. Please see our other units for pet friendly options! Guest access Guests have access to their entire space and shared grounds on the property, including 1 parking space along the shared driveway. The beachfront is just across the road. Other things to note WEATHER ALONG THE GARDEN ROUTE It may also be worth mentioning that, despite our deepest desires, we are unfortunately NOT in control of the weather (of which the Garden route can be very unpredictable until about 2 days prior). If you see it might rain a bit during your stay, consider packing a raincoat or go make memories in the ocean... nothing quite like a refreshing dip on a rainy day and an adventure is only as fun as you make it! :-) DIRECTIONS We are easily accessible off the main routes.
