Welcome to the LaFleur cabin w/ a gorgeous, newly remodeled bathroom & bedroom. This is a quiet, intimate get-a-way where you can step back in time & unplug. My 410 sq. ft. cabin offers incredible views, our own oyster bed, a canoe, yoga mats, two sit on top kayaks & a paddle board, a coffee bar, & peace & quiet. We aren’t a match for motorized boats or jet skis. Our cabin is for people who enjoy a retreat from the business & bustle of the city & enjoys people powered water play toys. Our cabin is ideal for couples who want a comfortable, quiet, romantic get-a-way or friends who want the perfect place to catch up while relaxing. Our high end hotel quality California King size bed is incredible. You won't want to get up. Our cabin is a non smoking, dog friendly cabin and is very clean, but you might come across an occasional dog hair. We are foodies, so we have everything you need for cooking as well as condiments in the cupboards and refrigerator that are available for all to use. We have 5 G Wifi, so you’re good to go if you need to work remotely. The newly remodeled bedroom even has a workspace. Our guests have access to our private beach, canoe, grill, floating chairs, and lounge chairs. The neighbors beaches are also private, so please do not pick up or harvest any items from their private beach. Guests can walk for miles along the road in either direction from the cabin. If you head north about a quarter mile you'll come to a public park where you can walk all you want along the beach. You can cross the river and head up into the woods for a more challenging hike with incredible views. I will not be present during my guest's stay. I live less than 2 hours away and can be available if needed. I do have a wonderful contractor & housekeeper who live in the area who are available to come if needed for emergencies. What I love most about our cabin is that it feels like you have literally stepped back in time. Everything slows down at the cabin. Most of the cabins are privately owned, so it's very quiet. To fully experience the cabin, you'll want to go for a canoe or kayak ride, take a nap, and take a hike up into the hills down past the park. We've recently added corn hole to the list of optional recreational activities. I also have roasting sticks and all of the fixings needed for s'mores while enjoying the few fire pit. If you like oysters, you can eat a few of them right out of the shell from my oyster bed as long as we aren't experiencing a red tide. You can cook some over the grill or shuck them and put them in the muffin tin and cook them in olive oil, garlic, and bread crumbs oner the grill. Yum! Please take only a few, so others can enjoy in the future. You can get a pass and harvest your limit of oysters down at the park just past my cabin. The cabin is a 2 hour drive from Seattle. There is room to park 2 cars on the property. From the airport it's under a two hour drive. There is no public transit near the cabin. In fact, the road goes gravel less than a half mile from the cabin. This cabin has been in my family for 70 years and I LOVE it! I grew up coming to the cabin, and it has been my pleasure restoring it and bringing it to its current magical condition. It is the perfect place to unplug, rest, and recharge .
