They established our lifeguard program, host the farmers market, have a soccer program for youth, work to keep our beaches clean and our community safe through beach clean ups and providing additional security for our area. Every stay with us has a portion given this organization to make Tamarindo even better! The space **Important Notice**: Starting January 2025 construction will begin next door, which may cause noise during daytime hours. We want to be transparent so you can plan accordingly and assure you we are doing everything we can to minimize the disruption. Our rates have been discounted for this year as an apology for the inconvenience. If you have any concerns or need recommendations for quieter activities during your stay, please don't hesitate to reach out. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting you! **Construction is projected to end June 2025** The condo is a great place to set up your "home base". With plenty of space to spread out, you can use the space as a private piece of paradise. It features air conditioning, cable tv and internet along with a fully functioning kitchen. The kitchen has a full sized fridge, cooktop, oven, dishwasher, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, blender, cookware and flatware and dishes for 6. A beach towel and bath towel are provided for all registered guests. We also provide hand towels in the bathroom and kitchen towels in the kitchen. We provide a biodegradable 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner as well as body wash for our guests. Biodegradable soap in provided in the kitchen. An iron and hair dryer are available for your use. There are beach chairs, coolers and sand toys available for guest use within the building on a first come, first served basis. Weekly cleanings are included for stays longer than 7 nights. Additional cleanings are available for a fee. The condo is within walking distance to everything Tamarindo has to offer -2 min walk to the beach, 4 min walk to the center of town. Please note: this unit is on the fourth floor (4th) and the complex does not have an elevator. There is a potential for noise. Guest access Guests have full access to common area amenities between the hours of 8am and 10 pm. Common area amenities include a plunge pool, shallow pool for children, an outdoor shower, a foot shower, a gas bbq grill with grilling tools, and lounging areas to sit near the pool or eat outdoors with family and friends. Other things to note Condo is available by self check in. Condo is located on the 4th floor. There is no elevator in the building. Pets are not welcome in this condo. Weekly cleanings are included for stays longer than seven nights. Additional cleanings are available for an additional fee. Tamarindo is currently experiencing extreme growth with development throughout most parts of Villarreal, Tamarindo and Langosta. As a result, there may be some noise due to nearby construction during legal working hours. We also donate a portion of every stay to ADI Tamarindo. ADI Tamarindo is an organization that works toward the betterment of our community. They established (and are working to expand) our lifeguard program. They host the local farmers market on Saturday mornings. They have a soccer program for youth in our community. They work to keep our beaches clean and our community safe by cohosting beach clean ups and providing additional security for our area. Every stay with us has a portion earmarked for this community organization to support their initiatives and make Tamarindo even better. Your stay enables our continued support. Thank you for helping our community! Ants, spiders, moths, lizards, flies, beetles and many other animals are native to this area and it is typical to see inside or around all homes/condos in our area an occasional sighting of these small creatures. This is especially true in rainy season when they are simply looking for a dry place to be. Leaving unsealed food on the counter will draw them to your space. We prepare for such sightings with traps, sprays, etc, but we give no refunds for seeing any of these creatures and want to prepare our guests for what to expect. Please respect nature and accept all that comes with it if booking here. **Please do not book if this is an issue. We only want you to have a great time** If there is even an abundance of ants or other pests inside, you can use the Bygon spray provided under the kitchen sink or request that we send a our handyman in to do so for you. While not expected, power outages are possible in Costa Rica. If the power outage exceeds 6 hours a 25% refund will be offered for the affected day, no refund or discount will be offered for an outage less than 6 hours. You may also see howler monkeys, skunks, porcupines, possums, iguanas and hawks. Leave them alone and they will leave you alone. It is a small sacrifice in experiencing beach life in Costa Rica. You may hear noise from surrounding neighbors during your stay. Onsite parking is available, but limited to one car.
