You will stay in a very pleasant room thanks to the natural materials used during the construction of our bioclimatic earth/straw house. Come and stay in absolute calm for a weekend or even a week. Below are the achievements in detail: 🌱a bioclimatic greenhouse in which we will grow citrus fruits etc. in the ground... and which will serve as heating 🌱 a cellar built into a slope to store fruit, vegetables, and jars 🌱 dry toilets only 🌱grey water management by phyto-purification 🌱an autonomous photovoltaic installation 🌱 domestic hot water by solar thermal energy 🌱underground tanks for rainwater autonomy for all household uses 🌱a mandala vegetable garden 🌱several ponds on the 1 ha property to accommodate biodiversity The Room: You will stay in the "elegant goldfinch" room with a large double bed and a very comfortable new mattress. The materials are natural, the wall coatings are made of earth. We provide candles, throws or other accessories to ensure better relaxation. We always welcome you with a small welcome gift. You have the opportunity to enjoy a good herbal tea with garden plants (sage, verbena, mint, lemon balm, lavender) that we offer to guests. Things to do: There are so many studies that have demonstrated the soothing, restorative, and therapeutic power of nature. What if you just went to rest in the forest? Nothing better than a walk along the nearby river, a meditation session, a moment of reading, or a nap, lying in the grass. A few kilometers by car you will find medieval villages such as Saint Macaire or Saint Emillion which are pleasant to visit. We know a biodynamic winemaker in our village who offers tastings of their excellent organic wines (Reservation on site). Guest access You will have access to all common spaces, kitchen, toilet, bathroom, living room, terraces, permaculture vegetable garden, garden benches etc. The bathroom and dry toilet are shared. Other things to note 🥕🍎🥦 Get out of your daily routine and forget about meals 🌶🫑 ✨Healthy food, healthy moods ✨ Food plays a major role in our lives. It's an important part for our body but also for our mind and it goes through the pleasure of cooking good food. I am passionate about vegetarian cuisine and I invite you to taste my colorful dishes if you want to have lunch or dinner at the table.
