In the heart of the Cinque Terre in the enchanting village of Riomaggiore, a few steps from the train station, the beach and the bars and shops, located on the second floor of a historic building in a quiet and characteristic alleyway, this spacious room is ideal for a family or a small group. It is a very large room that can accommodate up to 4 people as it is equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed. Among the amenities of the room you will find: air conditioning, wi-fi, tv, hairdryer, kettle, fridge, microwave and iron. The private bathroom has a shower. Shower gel and toilet paper are the only consumable products provided (especially you will not find any kitchen products such as oil, salt, etc.). You will find towels and linen. The change of towels and the collection of rubbish will be done on the fourth day of the stay, while the replacement of the sheets will be done only on request and for a fee. Cinque Terre villages are ancient villages dating back to the 1200s, built along uphill stairways. Please consider that the distance from the main road to the alley where the room is located is very short, however we want to warn you of a staircase of about 20 steps to climb on foot and that, once you arrive at your destination, you will have to climb two ramps up to the second floor without lift. The steps of Cinque Terre can be challenging and is something to be taken into consideration in case of mobility problems. The accommodation does not have private parking. Pets are not allowed. The rate does not include breakfast. Guest access PAY ATTENTION TO STEPS Riomaggiore is a very small village closed to traffic and all the movements are very fast on foot (maximum 5 minutes from one place to another). The station is inside the village so it is not necessary to take other transport (bus or taxi). You might know that there are many steps to get to the beach or the castle or to wander through the labyrinth of alleys that make up the historic center. This is something you should consider if you visit Cinque Terre, specially in case of health problems or disabilitity. PAY ATTENTION TO PARKING Arriving to Riomaggiore by car is not recommended. Please consider that Riomaggiore is a very small village closed to the traffic. Only (very few) paid parking lots are located at the entrance of the village. Their price is 35 euros a day and you can not book them in advance. We suggest you to leave your car in La Spezia from where you will arrive to Riomaggiore in only 10 minutes by train. Parking in La Spezia also means avoiding long queues on the coastal road, especially in high season. Other things to note The conformation of Cinque Terre has remained unchanged over time and this is the characteristic that makes these small villages, magically built between the sea and the mountains, wonderful. If you have chosen this tourist destination, you must be prepared that it is a historic and delicate place. The wi-fi may temporarily not work, it will not always be possible to have a quick resolution to technical problems and failures and above all there will always be many steps to climb and no lifts. For this reason:. • be aware that you are arriving to a destination that does not have the amenities you may be used to • travel with light luggage (preferably a backpack) • bring closed shoes to be able to walk the trails • be respectful of water and electricity resources, always turn off lights and electrical appliances • relax and think if even something might not go perfectly, you are in one of the most beautiful places in the world!
