Nestled in Cambria's peaceful Park Hill neighborhood, the upstairs half of this breezy split level pad offers easy walking distance to Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, the charming West Village, and Shamel Park. Live like a local and start your mornings with a coffee stroll along the nearby ocean bluffs, where otters are often playing in the surf. This home is upstairs and has a relatively steep 13 step staircase going up to it so is not suitable for persons who would find this difficult. We also have one downstairs neighbor so be courteous about noise. No loud parties please. we live in town so should be available for questions or help. If we need to be away we will arrange for someone else to be on call. Self checkin or make arrangements and we will meet you there to show you around. This is a quiet sunny neighborhood and the house is three doors from the public openspace you see in our first photo. Fiscalini Ranch is a few blocks walk in one direction and Shamel Park in the other. The park has a pool, childrens playground and a large walking beach where Santa Rosa Creek enters the ocean. Fiscalini Ranch is a large public preserve that runs from the ocean up to highway one between the two ocean front neighborhoods in Cambria. Must do's in the area include Hearst Castle, viewing the elephant seals (a 15 min drive up highway one) and walking or hiking the many beaches and trails. A 1 hr 50 min drive north will bring you to the heart of the gorgeous big sur area. a 20 minute drive south is Morro Bay, 10 minutes to caucus While we prefer stays of at least one week we will consider requests for shorter periods if they fill in gaps between guests that are less than a week.
