Also downstairs is a sitting area and access to a new 6-person hot tub (off in the summer months). The space Avon, Connecticut is a perfect home base for antiquing, apple picking, hiking and biking trails, the Hartford arts scene, fine dining and much more. We are less than 5 minutes from Whole Foods and all the shopping you could need, yet on a secluded nature preserve-like setting. With luck you could spy deer, bobcat, wild turkey, our pair of nesting owls, fox, and even some (harmless if you don't bug them) black bear!
