The person booking our home must be 25 or older. Our home and property are available for our guests' enjoyment throughout the duration of their stay. Some come for the old charm of Main Street in Cold Spring, nestled on the Hudson River between the mountains of the Hudson Highlands, with its local shops and eateries, others for the history and culture, such as Boscobel, Manitoga, Magazzino, Stonecrop Gardens, the Dia, and the Storm King Art Museum, while others come for the natural beauty of the heart of the Hudson Valley. There is always something to do, from our local theaters, restaurants, (we love Hudson Hil's and Riverview) and small businesses, like Hudson Valley Expeditions' kayaking adventures and, of course, 27 nearby hiking trails, including one of the top 10 in the country, Breakneck Ridge and an array of beautiful scenery year round. For amenities, nearby Vera's Farm Market offers great donuts and now includes Marbled Meats. Alternatively, our local Foodtown has everything, and nice folks too. Cold Spring is a wonderful community set in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. To enjoy the local area, a car is best. Winter conditions may warrant at least one four wheel drive. We have parking for up to six cars. The house is 10 minutes from Main Street and 12 to the Hudson Line Cold Spring train stop, which runs along the Hudson River between Grand Central Station in NYC and Poughkeepsie, NY. Please drive slowly on our road and especially on our long driveway, initially shared with a neighbor.
