Pianist’s House, garden, village, river

Charming countryside house full of character in the heart of Fresselines, an artists’ village where Claude Monet painted. Welcome to my home, I’m Marie-Louise, an Englishwoman in love with the Creuse, pianist and art lover. You will stay in a character home a short walk from the confluence of the Creuse River, a beautiful setting for relaxing and walking. Garden, equipped kitchen, games, books, DVDs, pool table and pianos. Close to Crozant and Lake Eguzon. No Wi-Fi and TV. The space Welcome to my home in Fresselines. I settled here a few years ago, drawn by the peace, nature and beautiful light of this village where Claude Monet once painted. The house comfortably sleeps 6 guests, with three bedrooms: a large bedroom with a double bed, bookshelves, an armchair and a pool table, a second bedroom with a double bed, and a third with two single beds. There is also a sofa bed downstairs — for up to 8 guests, please contact me in advance. The bathroom is lovely and comfortable, with both a bathtub and a shower, as well as a toilet and all essential amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, microwave, washing machine, filter coffee maker…) so you can cook and enjoy meals together. Outside, there is a garden (not enclosed) with outdoor furniture for dining and relaxing. The river is about a 10-minute walk away, with a beautiful path leading to the confluence of the two Creuse River — one of my favourite spots. This is a perfect base for hiking and for exploring Terra Aventura in the area. The house has electric heating, a fireplace and fans depending on the season. There is no Wi-Fi and TV, but mobile signal and data generally work well. Free parking is easy just next to the house. Families and groups of friends are very welcome, as well as small pets (please note the garden is not enclosed). Finally, this is a lived-in, welcoming home: you’ll find books in French and English, DVDs, board games, two pianos… and of course the pool table, perfect for spending time together.
