Description
Bowman River Haven is a secluded property right on the Bowman River in the beautiful Gloucester district. It is all yours to swim, watch the birds, bike, hike, tour the region or just enjoy the peace with the backdrop of the surrounding rainforest. A claw foot bath for a relaxing soak or the day bed for a quiet read? Fireplace or fire pit, you choose which one to stare into. The massive verandahs give you so many places to sit and the BBQ is there for that perfect bacon and eggs. Enjoy The space Bowman River Haven is very private and all yours to enjoy. Feel free to use the space around the house and along the rivers and creeks. It is the perfect place for watching the amazing wildlife over a morning coffee and afternoon wines. The house is an open plan design with 3 bedrooms upstairs. These include 2 queen size beds and a twin room. All bedrooms are carpeted and have huge cupboards. There is one bathroom upstairs and 1 downstairs. The downstairs section of the house is air-conditioned and there are fans in all bedrooms. For the adventurous, Bowman River Haven provides easy access to the surrounding district including the World Heritage Barrington Tops and Gloucester Tops National Parks. The property also backs onto the Copeland Tops State Conservation Area. Outbuildings are not available for guest use. Guest access Bowman River Haven is an easy 30 minutes from Gloucester and 20 minutes from Barrington. The drive will include a small section of unsealed road that is suitable for 2WD vehicles. Other things to note Please note, Bowman River Haven is on a river and there is stock in neighbouring properties. This means care needs to be taken with children, especially around unfenced waterways. Bowman River Haven is in an amazing bush setting, so be aware that it can be home to snakes, spiders and prickly plants. We recommend wearing suitable clothes & footwear when going for bush walks. We stock a basic pantry due to our remote location, which includes: Ground Coffee Beans, Black and Herbal Teas, Salt, Pepper & Olive Oil. Please pop into a shop on your way for your supplies and milk if you need some. Guests find it hard to leave once they arrive! Gloucester is well served with a large Woolworths, IGA and bottle shops as well as local butchers, great bakeries and coffee shops. Registration Details PID-STRA-31880
