The space Located in the heart of laid-back Croyde and just a short stroll from the famous surfing beach, Scilla Verna sits within an exclusive development of eleven contemporary homes arranged around a peaceful central green. Crisp white walls, private parking and a modern coastal design make this the perfect base for a relaxed North Devon coastal getaway. Step through the secure lockable entrance and into your own enclosed courtyard. Here you’ll find a hot outdoor shower — ideal for rinsing sandy feet, surfboards and salty pups after a day in the waves — before slipping into the hot tub or heading out to the sun-trap garden. The garden is fully fenced and turfed, with a spacious patio, seating for six and a BBQ for easy outdoor dining. Inside, the open-plan kitchen and dining area has everything you need: an induction hob, integrated appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, wine cooler), and a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods. Bi-fold doors open out to the courtyard, bringing in fresh sea air and creating a perfect alfresco feel. Relax in the light-filled lounge, where bi-fold doors on both sides open onto the garden and courtyard so you can enjoy indoor–outdoor living all day long. Two large sofas (seating 3–4 each) and a smart TV with streaming apps make it the ideal place to unwind while keeping an eye on the kids in the hot tub. There’s also a wheelchair-accessible WC on the ground floor. Upstairs are three beautifully appointed bedrooms and a modern family bathroom. - The main bedroom features bi-fold doors and a glass Juliet balcony plus a private en-suite. - The second bedroom offers French doors and another Juliet balcony. - The third bedroom is perfect for children, with a bunk bed, toys, LEGO and books to keep them entertained. Children only to sleep on the top bunk. Every bedroom is dressed with plush bedding and fluffy towels, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. For entertainment and convenience, the house includes fast fibre BT broadband, a smart TV, Bluetooth DAB radio/speaker, plenty of books and board games. Families are well catered for with stairgates, a travel cot (bottom sheet provided), highchair, baby bath and children’s tableware. Guest access Guests have private off-road parking directly in front of the garage space for one car. A second space may be available on request and is subject to availability. Your stay begins through a private lockable entrance from the close, leading straight into the enclosed courtyard and patio area, which opens onto the securely fenced, turfed garden. This whole outdoor space is for your exclusive use throughout your stay. Therefore the hot tub may not be up to temperature until the day after your arrival.
