The Quarterdeck is a deluxe, 2nd floor king room, with a large private deck and separate entrance from the main Windward House Inn. Located in the back of the property, this very private room boasts floor to ceiling windows with an enormous deck, overlooking Mt. Battie. The high vaulted ceilings add additional natural light with a series of skylights. Other amenities include a gas fireplace, refrigerator, Keurig machine and large Samsung smart TV. The en-suite bathroom features a single person Jacuzzi tub and separate walk-in shower. In nautical terms, the quarterdeck is a raised deck behind the main mast of a sailing ship. Traditionally it was where the captain commanded his vessel and where the ship’s military colors were kept. This led to its use as the main ceremonial and reception area.
