Enjoy a walk to Harry Todd park with Lake access only 2 minutes away. The space We strive to create a home away from home for our guests in this 430 square foot 1 bedroom. There are 2 small steps to get inside and no steps inside the house. We do our best to provide a clean and prepared home with enough supplies to get you thru until you have a chance to get a store. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy our place so we have tried to make easy to maintain as much as we could. We have solid surface water proof flooring in most of the house with carpet in the bedroom just in case there may be an accident. We provide cleaning supplies to help as well. Only 2 minutes walk away is J's market a well stocked convenience store. Next to Harry Todd park with American Lake access and a spot for swimming, basketball and a kids jungle gym with swings. Lots of open space to run around. Our place is about 10 minute drive away from Lakewood town center for most of your shopping needs including Safeway grocery, Target and many restaurants. If cooking at home is more your style. We want you to enjoy a full kitchen with a full size fridge freezer, a full size stove, microwave, toaster, enough pots and pans, mixing bowls, and utensils to make a home cooked meal. We provide cooking basic like flour, salt and pepper, 2 types of cooking oil, and the Airbnb family will add their favorite spices over time. Make sure you get some ice cream to take advantage of the ice cream scoop. If you bring the wine we have a corkscrew and wine glasses. We provide pancake mix and syrup for breakfast. A Keurig with some decaf and Regular coffee pods with cream and sweeteners packets to get you started and few different types of tea if that is more to your liking. In the open living room / dining room you will find a table and 4 chairs that can fold up if needed to make extra space. The mini split heater air conditioner that is whisper quiet to not disturb you while you watch your favorite amazon prime shows (included) or you can use the high speed internet to cast your streaming service to the 50 inch smart tv. We have a comfortable 12 in thick king bed with 2 types of pillows. In the closet you will find hangers extra towels, sheets and blankets as well as a self inflating Queen sized air mattress for your extra guests. We have a set of cubed furniture for a dresser that provides an easy visual to help prevent anything from being left behind. This a 1 bedroom place with the only bathroom accessed thru the bedroom. It has a tub shower combo with shampoo conditioner and body wash provided as well as hand soap. There is a hair dryer and make up mirror to help get ready and designated make up towels. In the utility closet you will find a closet that has extra supplies including a broom, mop, and vacuum. Outside the front door we have a covered walkway patio with 4 chairs and a glass jar for cigarette butts. the front and back grass yards that will be shared with other guest and are not fenced. Some places you may want to visit and how far from our place they are. Drive to Thornewood castle, JBLM Madigan and logistics gate only 1 mile. Lakewood town center 8 miles. Tacoma dome 12 miles. Downtown Tacoma 14 miles Ruston way water front with bike path and restaurants right on the water 16 miles. Point defiance park and zoo 21 miles Seatac airport 35 miles. space needle 44 miles. It is 1 floor with 2 step to get inside.
