Our spacious 5 bed family home is a short walk to the sandy beach and to Bournemouth town centre, ideal for families as a beach holiday base. It’s also perfect for Winter breaks, with Bournemouth’s Christmas Market, Christmas Tree Festival and two ice rinks within walking distance. Our large kitchen diner is great for socialising, while the open fireplace in the lounge gives a snug place to play games in! The space Our home is perfect for a large family or two families sharing. It has a lounge with sofas, a large smart TV and open fire. The large kitchen/diner has seating for 8+ round a dining table. The kitchen is well equipped with a range cooker (with two electric ovens, a separate grill and electric hob top), an American fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area adjoins a second sitting room with a second TV, piano and games cupboard. The dining area and sitting room both have double patio doors which open onto large sundeck with a gas BBQ and an outside dining area. There’s a large lawn for games, sheltered fire pit, wooden playhouse on stilts, rope swing, hammock, and trampoline. In the back corner there is also a small nature pond, this is unfenced so very young children would need supervising in this part of the garden. Upstairs there are two king-size bedrooms, both with en-suite. The other beds are in a double room, a twin room and a single room. If required we can also make a travel cot and/or child’s mattress bed available. There’s a family bathroom, with a shower over a bath, and a separate WC. Downstairs there is another WC, a coat/boot store area and a boiler room which is great for drying off wet kit! The driveway provides free off road parking for 4 cars. Guest access Our home is very easy to get to by car with it’s central location and off road parking. For those not wanting to use the car, Bournemouth mainline train and bus station is a 5 minute walk away. There are regular local bus services into town, and along the coast into the Purbecks. The local train service around Poole Harbour and into the New Forest is also good, we use it for getting out to fun bike rides in the countryside! Other things to note This is our family home, so while it will be cleared and cleaned for you to enjoy during your stay, there will be signs that it is used by us the rest of the year, for example, family artwork on the walls and the odd letter through the post!
