The space THE LOCATION The property is centrally located in the heart of historic Guanajuato, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and offers easy access to restaurants, bars, shopping, museums, and theatres. It is situated on a gently sloping, stone-paved, pedestrian-only street that is both safe and one of the most photographed in the city. THE PROPERTY The Insta-worthy modern design of the building and apartment is the work of a local architect, designers, and craftsmen. The apartment has been tastefully outfitted with modern furnishings as well as rugs, tile and artwork from Mexican artisans. Note: There is no parking at the location. There are paid parking lots nearby. THE APARTMENT You’ll enjoy a Serta mattress, resort pillows and fluffy towels. Stay connected with fast Wifi and large TV with streaming content. This cozy apartment is in the back of the building, so while it’s not bright with sunlight, it is amazingly quiet and peaceful. It features a large kitchen with range, microwave, half fridge/freezer, and everything you need to cook. The bedroom includes a double-sized bed, comfy sitting area, and a small, attached bathroom. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW There are four total apartments in the building, so we ask that you be respectful of other guests. Be aware that sound travels through the large open corridor! As a result, please… *Keep conversations and music to a reasonable level *Respect quiet time after 10 pm *No events or parties Smoking is allowed only on the terrace away from the opening to the corridor. Guest access No cars or trucks are allowed on the street. There is public parking at a nearby parking lot. Most everything in the central district is within walking distance and taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. Please note that Guanajuato is in a valley with steep sides. There are lots of stairs to negotiate around town. However, there are no stairs to access this apartment, though there are two flights to access the rooftop terrace. Other things to note The apartment is in the back of the house. For that reason, you will not hear the street noise, but you can receive noise from the occasional party at other nearby houses.
