You may enter at the side door downstairs or up the outdoor side stairs to second floor. The first floor has 3.5 bedrooms and a full bathroom with a shower. One of the bedrooms has a bunk space with doors that allow you make the bunk beds part of the room or close the doors for privacy. This room also has a queen bed. The first floor bedroom facing the ocean has some ocean views. It has a king bed and a folding sofa bed. This room sleeps 3-4. The bedroom at the front of the house has a queen bed. The 2nd floor has two living room areas, two dining areas, the kitchen, a full bath, a queen bedroom and large sliding doors out to the ocean-facing deck. The home is fully equipped with linens, towels, kitchen items, and games. Each bedroom has a smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon. Outside is an outdoor shower to rinse off after a long day at the beach. There is also a shed that has most of the items you will need for the beach, including lounge chairs, beach mats, snorkel, etc. Paddle boards and a foam surfboard are mounted on a rack in the side yard. There is WiFi but no cable TV. Guests will have full access to the property. Parking is available for up to 6 cars. Guests can access the entire property with the exception of one owner's closet. We live close by and we are available upon request. Vilano Beach is a quiet Beach town with a few restaurants and bars, and a Publix grocery store all within a short beach walk or a two minute drive. Just over the bridge is St. Augustine Old City. Uber and Lyft are available in the area. To walk to Vilano town center, we recommend you walk the beach south for 10-15 minutes and then cut in to the shops. The main road does not have sidewalks and is very busy. Although we are directly on the ocean, with direct access, the beach is a public beach and we are not responsible for any limitations or circumstances that may prevent or disrupt usage of the beach or water. We love our home but it is not our primary residence so we are not the foremost authority on events and situations that may impact your stay. The guest is responsible for researching the area and events and determining whether it's appropriate for their stay. We are not responsible for anything off of our property and no refund will be issued for weather, issues with city owned beach or roads, or events and crowds that disrupt a guest's stay. Further, we have our home on a routine pest and insect maintenance schedule but that does not guarantee that guests will not encounter insects or other wildlife and any such encounter is not grounds for refund. Due to the inside-out nature of the home with the large doors that guests like to have open, it is likely that guests will encounter insects. Propane and firewood is the responsibility of the renter during the rental. We provide the propane tank and it often has propane from the previous renter however we are unable to monitor the level. Guests can exchange the tank or purchase firewood at the gas station or Publix.
