Completely renovated in 2024 in keeping with Moroccan architecture combining modernity and tradition, the Lala Chicha Riad is a haven of peace! Ideally located, the Lala Chicha Riad is next to the Place des Épices, the souks and 10 minutes from the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The riad has a heated pool on the terrace on request (November to March). The space The riad has 5 bedrooms with reversible air conditioning, each with its own shower and toilet. The riad can accommodate up to 12 people (2 bedrooms are modular with 3 single beds or 1 double bed and 1 single bed, so 3 people maximum in these 2 bedrooms). On the terrace, you can enjoy a heated pool (on request from November to March), a pergola, a very large solarium, a kitchen, a barbecue, a parasol... Guest access We work with a driver to facilitate your arrival (rates based on number of guests and schedule). Day trips or activities are also available. To facilitate the transport of your luggage to the riad, on arrival and departure, we work with carossas. It is customary to tip them 50 to 100 dirhams depending on the number of bags. Other things to note Aziz, Naïma and Beija will be there to welcome and serve you during your stay. If you'd like, our cooks can introduce you to their traditional cuisine. You can book the day before for the next day. We offer different formulas (breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, aperitif...). Rates on request, to be paid directly to Aziz. For your information, Moroccan breakfast served until 11 a.m. is €7/person. You can also request laundry for 10 euros. For your well-being, we also work with professional and certified masseuses who come to the riad... so, after a busy day, there's nothing like a pleasant massage to complete your stay. Feel free to ask for rates! Jamal is our driver and ideal for your transfers or excursions. All extras are to be paid in cash in euros or dhirams, directly to Aziz at the Riad. We apply a rate which is €1 = 11 dh. Aziz will give you the WIFI access code as soon as you arrive and explain how the riad works! Aziz goes to the Riad every day to clean the pool on the terrace and takes care of the proper functioning of the Riad. Don't be surprised if you meet him at the riad during the day or in the evening, he is discreet, you can ask him if you need information on site, he will be happy to help you. An important point, as in the riads, the house staff are present at the riad, for the cleaning ladies and cooks from the morning around 8:45/9:00 a.m. and this varies depending on whether there is a meal booked for the evening or not, so until 1:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. The cleaning, including the rooms, is done daily unless you do not want it, you just need to lock your room... As for Aziz, the steward of the riad, he is there to welcome you at check-in and during the stay, he comes by every day for the maintenance of the pool but also if there are other things to manage at the riad (throwing out the garbage... or doing you a favor), they also serve meals in the evening and make you the bill at the end of your stay for any consumption and extras. All 3 are extremely discreet, but adorable and ready to help you have a pleasant stay.
