Visit Lake Pleasant just 40 minutes away or White Tank Mountain 20 minutes to the west. Getting around; I would recommend renting a car whenever in Phoenix as the city is spread out. If you rent a car from the PHX airport and book in advance the cost is generally only $25 per day.
