Novelty Prison Bed in Studio Room
Novelty Prison Bed in Studio Room
Description
The bed is from the now-closed Holloway Prison and is part of an installation ‘Her Bed’. The house is a quirky, creative space, partially a working studio. This double bedroom has a chest of drawers for guests. Located in a unique, pretty street in Upper Holloway, equal distance from Archway (Northern Line) and Finsbury Park (Victoria and Piccadilly Lines), Upper Holloway Overground and good bus links to London Central and local areas. The space The room is used as a studio workspace when not hosting guests, although tidy, does house equipment and specialist furniture and Artwork. Guests have full use of the house with a shared living room with TV, kitchen, bathroom, and garden. Built in 1850, this is one of two original cottages in this quiet street, it is a well proportioned cosy terraced house. Stone floor downstairs with carpeted upstairs (no shoes upstairs, thanks!). Guest access The local shops and transport links are within easy walking distance. I have a spare bicycle which I am happy for guests to use (for a small fee and/or a refundable deposit required for security). Parking is free except from 10am - 2pm weekdays in the street, paid parking is available in adjacent streets. Other things to note The house is 10 minutes walk from Arsenal Stadium and just around the corner from the latest Banksy Artwork on Hornsey Road. As I work from home, I often have ongoing projects around the house, but take care that these do not impair your stay. I have a small ceramic's studio in my conservatory which accesses the garden.
