Some of our older reviews mentioned that the host lived at this property too, however this has changed! It is now a 100% private rental. The cabin is situated on almost 3 acres and neighboring with state land and another empty lot so feel free to roam the backwoods for as long as you possibly can. We have a gravel steep driveway so in winter months we strongly advise using a car with four-wheel drive. We live 5 minutes away in our other house. And always available via phone . Driveway is downhill and steep, 4 wheel is a must when it's snowy. Watch your step, may be icy and slippery. Please remember that we are in the woods where there is wild life. Don’t leave any food/garbage outside. Don’t feed bears, or other animals. Please note that there is no air conditioning in the cabin , we are on mountaintop and it’s always cool and comfortable. No parties, no smoking/vaping indoors. Wood stove starts easily if you create a draft, open a window a little bit and turn handle to open a flu.
