Moon Suite - Cozy & Comfortable, Great Location!

Beautiful in-law apartment with high beam ceilings, soft inviting tones and warm personal touches for our guests to feel right at home! Centrally located in quiet West Irondequoit - you are walking distances to all your basic amenities (shops, food, entertainment, bars) and a 10-minute drive to downtown Rochester or to the beach! The space The apartment has a private entrance with self-check-in lock, there are 4 steps to enter the apartment which is attached to the back of our main house. The space is cozy, with high wooden ceiling beams and sky light making the space feel fresh and open. An open concept - fully equipped kitchen with high-end stainless-steel kitchen appliances and coffee maker, and comfortable sleeper sofa with pull-out queen mattress. There are 3 linen closets stocked with towels for guests, board games, extra linens, iron/board and basic cleaning supplies. The high ceilings extend into the one bedroom, complete with a memory foam queen mattress, and hypoallergenic pillows / linens with bathrobes to make you feel right at home. The bathroom is also stocked with basic necessities, including a hair dryer. There is also a workplace station - a desk with a comfortable chair and ample light for your convenience. Families with children are welcome, but please know that it is not a baby or child proofed house. There is a full motion, mounted Smart TV in the main part of the suite; and a TV with a Firestick in the Bedroom. Both are connected to the internet and have access to internet streaming services - guest must use own log-in information. Free basic Live TV service included as well as 5G wireless internet. Being an older home, the heat can only be controlled in the main portion of the home. It is set to 70 degrees Fahrenheit in cooler months. Please let us know if we can adjust the temperature during your stay! There is a bedroom window A/C unit in the warmer months for comfort. We live in the main part of the house, with our large dog. Although we try our best to keep quiet, you may hear us occasionally as we have old wood floors, and a dog that enjoys barking at the mailman from time to time. Our driveway supports one vehicle (small truck / suv or smaller) that you will be allowed to park. The driveway is long, but narrow so we ask you pull up to the garage so our vehicles can exit behind yours. We hope you enjoy your stay!! Guest access Guest will have private access to the entire en-suite. You are welcomed to use the backyard / patio but please note outdoors is shared space with us. Other things to note We live with our large dog, he may welcome you when you arrive but is generally very quiet. Heat is controlled in the main house and set to 70F degrees. Let us know if you need any adjustments in temperature during your stay! Cold is controlled in the Moon Suite via a bedroom window a/c unit. Please shut off or leave on energy saver when leaving the suite.
