Celebrating our 22nd year as a 5-Star overnight destination. Lake Street Commons Lodging is only a short 5 minute walk to Saugatuck's downtown. Contemporary fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment is centrally located, everything is assess able from Lake Street including the SCA - Saugatuck Center for the Arts with downtown Douglas only a 10 minute walk across the bridge that connects the two small towns. Early morning and evening shimmers on the waters of Lake Kalamazoo are breathtaking. The space Contemporary furnished 2 bedroom apartment. Tantalizing restaurants and intriguing shops as well as all the waterfront activities are all waiting without the search for parking downtown Saugatuck. The home was built circa 1880 during the time of the Western Michigan lumber barons and has gone through a myriad of reconstruction and restoration efforts over the many decades. We continue to loveingly work on the home and landscaping especially the Koi ponds and small woods in the rear of the property. A short walk ( I can get to the Uncommongrounds coffee shop in 7 minutes) to downtown Saugatuck along Lake Street. Minutes to Oval Beach by bicycle or automobile or for the athletic, a 8 minute walk through downtown to the Chain Ferry then 1/4 mile up the hill to the beach on paved road through the woods. Hailed as one of the countries top beaches. Natural and pristine vistas of the sand dunes both North and South. Our Guests... Family and Friends that want to get-a-way for the weekend, week or month and enjoy the area without the bother of parking but with all the small town city attractions at their fingertips. We continue to hold the Airbnb Super-Host designation for service to our guests and our community for 6 years running. Guest access Guests may access the upper deck as well as the main lower porch, upper side porch and patio. *** Jacuzzi & Pool NOTICE *** Hot Tub/Jacuzzi is located on the rear patio adjacent to the Fire Pit and in-ground pool. Jacuzzi is unlocked during the day hours of 7am - 11pm due to a city noise ordinance. You may access the backyard pool, Jacuzzi and BBQ and decks through one of the two entrances at the rear of the garage area. Thank you, John During your stay Private accomodations. The large patio, jacuzzi and fire pit is yours to use as you please. If you wish us to start a evening fire for you, we would be most happy to do so. We also lite tiki lights during the evening hours to put a perfect glow on the property. Other things to note Pets are not allowed in the apartments during your stay. There are pet hotels nearby if you decide to travel with your companions but they are not allowed on property.
