Inlet Gem: Celebrate & Rejuvenate

Situated feet from the inlet (at starting point for Cornell and IC crew regattas), my home radiates tranquility and ease. It is truly a gem for those seeking to celebrate and rejuvenate. I typically host guests between Thursdays after five thirty to Monday mornings at ten am. As it is my primary home, you will find books and games aplenty and a well stocked kitchen, as well as freshly made beds with towels for your use. Please leave behind your good spirits and take home a sense of ease. The space The house abuts the inlet where Cornell and IC crew teams begin their races, with two decks and a flagstone patio. Sit and gaze at the lapping water from almost every room. Indoor spaces allow group and intimate conversations, being both spacious enough to accommodate eight to gather in the living room, and three or four in the sitting alcove. With three full bathrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to primp for graduations, or to clean up after a day of hiking and biking (or tasting offerings from the many vineyards and breweries). Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and 200' of water frontage. There is a spot from which to launch your kayak or SUP board, and a hammock in which to loll under the majestic shade trees. The inlet is used for fishing and recreational boating, but not swimming. I ask that children refrain from using my psychotherapy consultation office so as to keep things in place for my work, but welcome adults to use it as a den. There is a car port and space for three other cars in the driveway. Beyond that there is NO on street parking, and it is not an appropriate spot for hosting gatherings beyond the expected guests. Other things to note I prefer to rent to families or groups of adults, with at least one guest over the age of 30. While I encourage guests to come to celebrate life transitions, gatherings of more than 10 are not appropriate for this location. The home has two bedrooms (full and queen beds) and two baths on the primary floor, with a king sized bed in the master suite on the second floor at one end of the home, and a twin sized bed in a loft over the kitchen at the other end of the home. The loft is primarily used as an office and craft area, and is accessed via a fairly open stair case, requiring guests with children to use the baby gate I provide to close off the stairwell, as well as to supervise them, to ensure their safety. On an individual basis, I will consider allowing one small, well-trained dog. Entry to the house is via short sets of 4-5 stairs.
