Sugar House Creamery Carriage Barn

Put on a record, sit back with a cocktail, and watch the cows slowly amble through the mountain pastures. The space Sugar House Creamery is a farmstead creamery in the high peaks region of the Adirondack mountains. Dairy farms are few and far between in this part of the world so the sight of our Brown Swiss making their way back to the barn for milking is especially special. The space is a newly renovated studio-style apartment located in the loft of the old carriage barn on our farm. The interior is fresh and new with a charming, vintage decor. Features a private balcony that overlooks the pastures and the distant Sentinel Mountain range, a turntable with a record collection complied by DJ Old Sam, and a Jotul stove for chilly nights. A guest house at the farm! French speakers would feel welcome- we speak French! Guest access Guests are invited to explore our 22 acres of pasture and visit with our small herd of Brown Swiss cows. A short walk (22-25 ft.) from the Carriage Barn is our Farm Store where we sell our farmstead cheese and raw milk along with fresh products from neighboring farms (yogurt, eggs, meats and more!). Other things to note This is an active dairy farm complete with accompanying sights, smells. and sounds. Please note that while many animals LIVE on this farm, we do not allow guests to bring pets.
