The space Welcome to Can Xico Curt Imagine spending a few days in this 1900s stone house, surrounded by nature, with a refreshing cold tub in the garden and an imposing 12th-century Romanesque bridge right in front of you. This village house has been meticulously refurbished with great taste, preserving all its rustic essence. By opening up and connecting its 180 m² of floor space, we made all its spaces spacious, bright and perfect for enjoying family life. We're in a secluded and peaceful neighborhood of just ten houses; a haven of absolute peace with the unique privilege of taking in history every morning while you enjoy your coffee. The house is spread over three floors and a cozy loft. We have restored this space with family comfort in mind, connecting the rooms to create spacious, connected, and light-filled spaces. -Ground Floor: Upon entering the door, you are greeted by an open kitchen-dining room and a seating area designed for rest, with two armchairs in front of a wood-burning fireplace. For your convenience, this floor also has a restroom and a laundry area equipped with a washer and dryer. -First Floor: Going up the stairs, you will find a full bathroom with shower and a comfortable closet area. From here, you can access a room with three single beds (0.9 x 2 m), an ideal space whose large windows offer beautiful views of the Romanesque bridge and nature. -Second Floor: It has a spacious and bright living room that connects directly to the house patio, our favorite spot: A private garden of about 70 m² with a terrace. It is a profoundly unique courtyard where an imposing natural rock emerges, which allows you to contemplate the composition of the terrain in a spectacular way. Under the gaze of this living stone, the Nordic bathtub (cold tub) takes center stage in the outdoor setting. Handcrafted in cedar wood, with generous dimensions of 2.20 meters in diameter and 1.10 meters deep, it is the ideal place to immerse yourself, disconnect from the world and renew your energy in absolute calm. This second level also has the main room, a place to relax with a double bed (1.60 x 2 m) that also enjoys the magical views of the bridge and the natural surroundings. -The Loft: In the highest part of the house, an intimate and quiet corner offers you a work area that's perfect for concentrating. Guest access The house is accessed by road, and you can park on the street right in front of the house. At the entrance to the town, you will also find several parking spaces for your vehicle. From the house, by bicycle, you can do multiple routes by dirt track or by road. You can also access the "via green del carrilet" 1 km, old train route and currently via pedestrian and bike route. Other things to note 1. The hot water in the house is supplied by a 74-liter electric water heater. The manufacturer guarantees a shower for 4 people with normal use. In any case, we recommend staggering the guests' showers so as not to deplete the hot water in the water heater, especially in spring/autumn. 2. We have cold/heat air conditioning in the kitchen-dining room, in the closet-hallway area that also supplies the children's room, and in the loft where the work table is located. In the living room and the double double bedroom we have some ceiling fans that cool the spaces on the hottest days. 3. Check-in time: from 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. You can ask us if it is possible to check in earlier or check out later, and if it is possible, we will allow it. 4. The Wi-Fi uses 4G coverage. 5. The cold tub or Nordic cold water tub is open and maintained from June to September. 6. We cannot accommodate pets in our house because we have allergies.
