Lillgården, Rural idyll with the primeval forest right around the corner

Just 20 km from the million-plus city of Stockholm, you can live and experience a centuries-old rural idyll with a farm and free-range animals. Here is also the entrance to the National Park with unique nature and very old forest, silence and glittering forest lakes. Here you will live comfortably in one of the historic buildings from the early 1700s, with kitchen and bathroom. Here you can stay if you intend to visit Tyresta village and/or the national park and nature reserve. The space Lillgården consists of a kitchen, bedroom and living room. In the bedroom, there are two single beds next to each other and in the living room there is a sofa bed with room for two to sleep in. Toilet/shower is in a separate building, about 15 meters from the main building. Guest access The guest has access to the entire main building of Lillgården as well as the part of the adjacent building where the toilet and shower are located. Dogs welcome! Other things to note Lillgården is located just outside Tyresta village in Vendelsö/Haninge. The GPS coordinates for Lillgården are 59.168352,18.231712 To get from Stockholm Central Station to Tyresta by public transport, take commuter train 43 towards Västerhaninge and get off at Handen station. From there, take bus 834 towards Tyresta by and get off at the end stop, which is Tyresta by. The journey from Stockholm Central Station to Tyresta by takes about 45-60 minutes. Please note that buses to Tyresta by only run between approximately 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (See the SL website for times) For guests arriving by car: free parking is offered outside the house. At 5:30 pm - 5:00 am on weekdays and around the clock on weekends, the gate to Tyresta village is closed. Additional information about this is provided to those arriving by car. You can park a maximum of one car at Lillgården. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a charging station for electric cars. Bed linens and towels are in the linen cabinet, the guest makes their own bed. In Lillgården, there is wood that you can burn in the stove in the living room. The guest is responsible for a light cleaning after their visit, see photo of cleaning routines that are also available in Lillgården. The accommodation is only for the tenants who are going to stay overnight, not for other visiting guests. In Tyresta village there is a café that is open during the day (see the website for Caféet i Tyresta by) and a country store that is open during the day Friday-Sunday. The nearest supermarket is in Brandbergen or Söderby, about 5-6 km from Janssongården. In Tyresta village there is also a conference facility for up to 10-12 conference guests.
