" - Ollie & Katherine, April 2022 As you enter the cottage you are welcomed into a recently renovated state of the art kitchen, with all the mod cons you would expect from a home away from home; full sized double oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, and spacious breakfast bar that seats four. During winter months, guests will appreciate the underfloor heating, adding that extra level of cosy. A double living room sits in the 400 year old section of the cottage. Lined with original wooden beams, open fireplaces and plush seating, this space is perfect for a relaxing evening in with a bottle of wine. To the back of the property is a stunning architecturally crafted extension, home to a modern shower room, spacious dining room and cosy snug with 65" TV and small double (3/4) sized sofa bed. Heading upstairs there is a family bathroom with free-standing bath tub and three bedrooms. The king-sized master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is a king, and the third is an en-suite with twin beds (or zip-linked to be a super king on request). Peak through the century-old windows to view unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside. To the back of the cottage is a beautiful, secluded garden offering the perfect space for family and friends to relax. During warmer months, this is an ideal spot to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing or hiking through the local countryside. THE COTTAGE The cottage is ideal for families seeking a peaceful getaway. We can provide a travel cot and bedding for your convenience - please request these when you book. Well behaved dogs are welcome but we request they stay in the kitchen/downstairs throughout the visit. A small pet fee will be added to the price of your stay at checkout. Please be aware that the garden borders a stables so the nearby field has horses. Small dogs may get through the hedge, so need to be observed at all times please. Please be aware that the sofa bed is a small double so best for 1 person or 2 small individuals. The ceilings in the 400 year old section of the house are low, and upstairs the ceilings are pitched so taller individuals may need to watch their head! Due to the remote location, phone signal / 4G is patchy but there is fibre optic WIFI available (download speeds of 50Mbps).
