The Old Dairy at Green Farm Barns is a recently renovated stunning barn conversion, which benefits from having the accommodation set over the ground floor (please note there are a couple of steps within the property). The Old Dairy is the perfect well equipped holiday cottage for families or friends looking to explore the stunning Norfolk countryside and Norfolk Broads. The Old Dairy offers you a relaxing and enjoyable time. The space The barn offers a generous open plan living area which has been wonderfully designed to have a modern, yet country feel, while still including some of the original features within the barn. At the front of the property there are patio doors which open onto a small courtyard, where you can enjoy eating and drinking alfresco. The property has 2 bedrooms, one comfortable double bedroom which features a divan double bed (with a good quality pocket sprung mattress) and a chest of draws for storage. The twin room contains two single divan beds with the same high-quality mattresses and more storage for clothing. Guest access The Old Dairy is located within Surlingham, which is a beautiful secluded rural village located on the River Yare, within the Norfolk Broads. This is ideal for bird watchers, cyclists and walkers, while only being 6 miles from the historic city of Norwich. The barn is located on the edge of our mixed family farm and within walking distance of two wonderful pubs which both sit nestled beside the river. There is also a small farm shop selling local produce, a patisserie selling fine Portuguese delights and a bus service within walking distance to take you to the Fine city of Norwich. Within a short drive of the barns there are lots of attractions and places to visit, including a number of National Trust properties, zoos, steam trains and day boat hire. The Norfolk and North Suffolk coast lines are also within reach.
