The master and the twin bedrooms are located in the loft space. The double bedroom and main bathroom are on the ground floor and are also wheelchair accessible. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the bathroom so feel free to pack light. In addition, there is an outdoor shower in the garden to wash off after a busy day at the beach. The cosy, fully-equipped eat-in kitchen has a fridge-freezer and a full size dishwasher and the comfortable lounge has a smart TV and views of the sea. Underfloor heating to the ground and first floors means that the property has no difficulty staying warm in the colder months. Guest access The house is an ideal base from which to explore Portland and the Jurassic Coast. There are easy public transport links if you don't have a car. The local area is especially popular with water sports enthusiasts, climbers, bird spotters, walkers and families looking to get away from it all. The property is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, take-aways, and a couple of local pubs. The Cove House Inn, The George Inn and the Chesil Chippy are particular favourites. The local garage also has a wide selection of Cook meals which is handy if you want to relax at home without the hassle of needing to cook. Portland Harbour is a short walk away and the traditional seaside town of Weymouth is only 10 minutes drive away and boasts a large expanse of golden sand, attractions such as The Sea Life Park and Marine Sanctuary.
