Situated above Crystal Bay near Stateline, it is close to beaches, skiing and town. Redwood deck, outdoor grill and dining table. 3 private bedrooms plus extra sleeping area downstairs for up to 6 kids. Great & eccentric collection of antiques, fireplace, and well-equipped kitchen. Great room with kitchen, dining and living space, TV, stereo, and lake views. Close to market and town. 5 minute drive to Burnt Cedar Beach (limited access may be available; arrange passes with Host in advance) or travel a bit further (6 miles) to the beautiful Sand Harbor state beach ($15 per vehicle entry fee). 10 minute drive to Kings Beach on the California side. Both Incline Village and Kings Beach are about 5-10 minutes away. Diamond Peak, Mount Rose and Northstar ski resorts are 15-30 minutes away. Palisades Tahoe is about 35 minutes away. Easily accommodates groups with kids (please check with Host in advance for various sleeping arrangements). Nice rumpus room downstairs with 4 pull out twin beds and a sleeper sofa. These beds are not listed in description as bedrooms as they are only suitable for kids. They pull out from the wood paneled walls and lie on the floor - they have a cute built-in cabin feel. Air mattress available, too. Stairs going down to cabin from street level could be challenging for people with injuries, physical limitations or the very elderly. Perched above State Route 28, there is some highway noise, but we are never bothered by it (probably because the view of the lake is so great we don't notice!) Guest access All parts (deck, backyard) except basement storage area. Other things to note The king and queen beds in the bedrooms are Tempurpedic (memory foam). Most people love them, but some do not. They can feel very firm at first, until your body weight sinks in. Easy access to ski resorts and beaches. Guests must follow trash rules for bears and use only bear-safe trash bins located out by carport. All recycling must fit in recycling bin with lid closed (no gaps) or it will not be picked up! Please eliminate/minimize food waste in recycling bin and use attached bungee cord to secure lid to lock out the bears! NO PLASTIC BAGS in recycling please. If there are any plastic bags or non-recyclable materials in the recycling bin, they will not empty it and creates a problem. Guests to pay house cleaning fee. Guests may be subject snow removal fee if required during winter (usually $125-$200). Extra guest fees apply if you have more than 6 guests in your party (children 5 and under excepted).
