The Garden Room

The Garden Room is self-contained, calming and comfortable. When the sun is out it lights up the room. A lovely view of the garden which can be used for relaxing with seating and Summer House. Rail links about a 20 min walk away from Hamworthy and Poole. Poole Harbour and shopping centre a similar walk time. Across the road is walkway to overlook Cobbs Quay Marina and walking into Poole if preferred adjacent to the school field which comes out near the Twin Sails Bridge. The space The Garden Room is located in the converted garage and is newly constructed. It has its own access and is self-contained. Entry is via a side gate, next to the main house, into the back garden and through French doors. It comprises a King-size bed and ensuite. There is an electric radiator which keeps it warm and underfloor heating in the ensuite. There is an electric shower and modern suite. The TV is 42 inch with Sky TV, Netflix and Amazon. There isn't a kitchen but the area is well served for take away restaurants only a short walk away. There is a fridge (no icebox) and microwave. The summer house is also for your use with seating and TV, Netflix and Amazon and a range of DVDs. Perfect for having just that bit more space. Board games also on shelving above the door. It is a comfortable space for one or two people to use as a base to explore the area or meet up with family or friends. Guest access A parking space is outside on the road. Close to rail links and the ferry terminal to Cherbourg and the Channel Islands. Buses also into Poole if you do not wish to walk there. A number of car parks are in town. The Co-op and take aways are less than 5 mins walk. Other supermarkets such as ASDA, Lidl, Sainsburys are 20/25 mins walk away. During your stay I am happy to leave you in peace or be available to talk. Just knock on the door if you need me. Other things to note The back garden overlooks a Secondary School field. The owner has a working cocker spaniel Flo aged 4 years. She will be in and out of the garden, but the garden is kept very clean and tidy.
