The main house, El Romero, is a beautifully restored traditional Andalucian finca, with room for 15 guests. It has seven bedrooms, a large kitchen and lounge area and a huge wood burning fireplace used during the colder months. However, for holiday guests who want the full Spanish sensory experience of the mountains at night, there two large teepees two ME-Pods (5.5m diameter 3.5m tall solid domed structures) and the three Geodesic domes.All are fully furnished with electricity(Posh Camping) Guest access 15min track to the Finca from Pizzara and Alora, free parking. So you are informed there are security camera s in the Parking area . Please be aware , if you are 8 guests , we will only allocate enough rooms for you that are necessary, always keeping the other empty rooms, tipis,ME PODS or Domes as clean as possible and available for the next group booking. We live close by and attend to the pool as and when needed dependant on temperature/usage, (we can organise times to suit you)and are close by if help is needed.We have cats that may roam and friendly dogs may visit -but live off site, however if they get attention will visit more.! Other things to note Minimum stay is 4 nights for 8 guests. In August it is 10 guests.40e oer person per night after that-for all months this is a minimum of 4 nights. Facilities On a Valle de Vida yoga , you can swim in the solar heated salt water pool, have a session in the sauna or steam room, or be treated by one of our experienced therapists, watch a night time film projected over the pool, play table tennis, or take a local trek in the hills. Our wooden hilltop yoga platform, open-sided but shaded, and with spectacular views over the Spanish mountains,perfect or daily stretching classes or just a special place to sit and " just be" Cinema | Therapy room x2 | Fully equipped Kitchen | 20mx7m verandah/BBQ/ outside glass studio(great in colder months) Thai massage decking/ large hillside shaded exercise /mediation platform | Decked shaded area by pool | Pool bar area/sauna/steam The teepees and ME-Pods are clean, spacious and very comfortable and fully furnished, with tiled floors, electricity and beautiful bedding, perfect for those with an affinity for the outdoors, but who don’t wish to compromise on comfort. Each is connected with paths winding amongst the almond and olive groves, picked out with solar lights. They all have beautiful views across the valley, the stars glittering, a Spanish night breeze whispering through the trees, the sounds of crickets and cicadas lulling you to sleep. Also, we have a some incredible massage therapists that you could book during your stay up around our massage and therapy area behind the big house- some guests organise a pamper and spa day for all. All twin rooms in the house have two single beds but they can be turned into a king size double with a topper added on top. Extra movie nights ,Haman ,Sauna costs .(30e) The retreat is also available for events -weddings etc, however this needs to be organised in advance.Local chef can be hired in.
