This Vacation Home has an unobstructed view of the almighty Atlantic Ocean , in a bay known as Bonavista Bay. Sitting on 3 acres of private land surrounding you, Icebergs and Whale watching can be viewed during it's yearly seasons of May to mid July ! Located on most scenic route 184-186 Cape Shore Road, is just stepping stones away from walking trails of rugged coastline, John Cabot, Cape Bonavista Lighthouse and Puffin Sanctuary. It has all the amenities you can ask for and more! The space Jewel’s Retreat, is a fully equiped home located on 3 acres of historical farm/ livestock land previously owned by The Power Family some years ago. This land was passed down through family generations to 2 bachelor brothers who were good family friends of my family and especially childhood friends of my Father. During your stay here, one will truly appreciate the warm comfort and fantastic peaceful scenery which surrounds this home , taste and smell the saltwater air blowing among the wind and will come to understand and respect the true Newfoundlander, their lifestyles in not only today's world, but in the years gone by too!! Private entrance and driveway , along with lots of space to park , play, etc. A 16x16 Fire pit, large private back patio , BBQ, multiple lounging chairs/benches . On the front patio there's a sitting bench , bar stools and rustic bar counter top so you can sit and relax while admiring the ocean’s scenic view of possible whales, icebergs, boats , birds , etc or just star gaze the night away.... The choice awaits you!! Other things to note Because of the lack of icons provided under the amenities section on Airbnb , this retreat is listed as air conditioned, meaning there’s an air exchanger system(HVAC) installed in the home as well as cooling/heating tower fans supplied in every room throughout the home too. It’s all provided for your comfort during your stay at Jewel’s Retreat .
