The space Lark Nest is a lovely Cotswold stone property which sleeps 2-4 people. It consists of a large contemporary living area with views into the valley, a separate bedroom and a stylish bathroom. Forming the first floor of a converted barn it has facilities including wifi and a kitchenette with basic cooking facilities. There is off street parking for one car on a shared driveway. Lark Nest is a cosy gateway to explore the Cotswold countryside. It is accessed through a barn store, in which guests are welcome to store outdoor equipment, and a flight of steps leading to the bedroom. The bedroom has a king size bed and wardrobe space and direct access to the contemporary bathroom with a large shower and heated towel rail. From the bedroom there is access to a bright living space. The kitchenette includes simple cooking facilities such as an electric oven and microwave, a single induction hob, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, stovetop coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is a round table which sits 4 comfortably. There is also an L shaped sofa that converts to a double bed, a footstool and side table, a TV and a projector with a screen. Please note that dogs are requested to be kept on leads in the property grounds as there could be other dogs and children in the vicinity. Guest access Clapton on the Hill is a quiet and peaceful hamlet a few miles walk from Bourton on the Water (or 5 minutes drive). The village is at the end of a No Through Road so there are few vehicles passing by. Several Public Footpaths converge on Clapton so walking to nearby Bourton or the National Trust village of Sherborne is simple. Car parking is off road, on a driveway in front of Larks Nest.
